Umaversity

Supporting the growth of a global women+ well-being community through content, social media, content creation and community engagement.

A content and community strategy built for one of the largest knowledge platforms dedicated to women+ well-being, connecting a global network of 100+ experts with the women+ who need them.

Make the work behind Umaversity visible and turn that visibility into real participation across online and offline events.

The Challenge

Umaversity had built something genuinely valuable, a global community connecting women+ with accessible expertise across mental health, personal development and well-being, but the platform's mission was not yet fully visible to the people it was meant to serve.

As a community-driven brand, trust mattered more than polish, which meant the content needed to show the real people, the real experts, and the real energy behind the platform rather than a curated version of it. The challenge was to translate that energy into consistent, authentic content that could capture the atmosphere of the community while actively inspiring women+ to join events, both online and in person. Without that visibility, the platform risked staying known to those already inside it, rather than growing the reach its mission deserved.

A content and community system built to make Umaversity's mission visible and its community

Umaversity approached TSM Collective to strengthen its digital presence at a pivotal point in the platform's growth, with a clear mission but a need for consistent, authentic storytelling to match it.

Working closely with founder Jo Sarah, we built an approach centered on visual storytelling, documenting the community as it actually exists rather than producing generic branded content. This meant being present at events, capturing the real interactions, and building a recognizable online presence that felt true to the platform across every channel.

As Umaversity expanded, our role grew with it. We took on podcast filming support, helped establish the brand's LinkedIn presence, and supported outreach as the platform began reaching new audiences. When Umaversity launched its community on Whatsapp and the Heartbeat app, we extended our work into community management, helping facilitate engagement and interaction as the community grew.

Since 2023, this has meant ongoing social media management, short-form video creation, event content capture, and aftermovie production, executed alongside our team members Dasha and Rosanne to keep output consistent without sacrificing quality as the workload scaled.
