20kHz Rave Resonant
Building the visual foundation for a Nijmegen-based electronic music podcast through branding, logo design and content templates.
A complete brand strategy, visual identity, and content system built for a Nijmegen-based electronic music platform that needed a look and feel as distinctive as the culture it represents.
Give 20kHz a brand strong enough to be instantly recognizable in one of the most visually saturated scenes in music, and a system consistent enough to carry that identity across every platform without it ever losing its edge.

The Challenge
20kHz had a clear creative direction and a genuine connection to the underground electronic music scene, but no visual identity to match it yet. In a culture where aesthetics are part of the credibility, showing up without a coherent brand is not a neutral starting point, it actively works against you.
The challenge was to build something that felt native to the scene rather than designed for it from the outside, capturing the specific atmosphere, values, and musical character of 20kHz in a visual system that could hold its own across Instagram, YouTube, and every format the platform would grow into.
A brand strategy and visual identity system built to earn credibility in a scene that can immediately spot what does not belong
20kHz came to TSM Collective at the beginning of the brand's life, with a team that knew exactly what they stood for musically but needed a structured process to translate that into a visual language they could build on consistently.
We started with a deep branding process, working through the values, atmosphere, audience, and musical direction of the platform before a single design decision was made. This was not a formality, it was the foundation that made every subsequent choice deliberate. From there we built a moodboard that aligned the team around a shared visual direction, an essential step for a brand operating in a scene where the difference between something that feels right and something that feels off is immediately felt by the people you are trying to reach.
The result was a complete visual identity centered on a logo designed to carry the character and spirit of the platform, paired with a full typography and color system that could hold its own across both digital and physical formats. Reusable templates for Instagram carousels, stories, and YouTube were built to give the team a consistent toolkit, so that every piece of content reinforces the brand rather than fragmenting it.
The brand guidelines delivered at the end of the process gave 20kHz everything needed to maintain that consistency independently, across new content formats, collaborations, and wherever the platform grows next.
